5 Years of Staffing Firm Marketing

5 Years of Staffing Firm MarketingWhat are you looking at? Why are you looking at it? Does it concern you? I just wanted to catch your attention. Thank you to all of our great clients, great employees, superior partners and the tremendous organizations that have led to our fifth year in business…successfully. ☺

We started S.J.Hemley Marketing with a simple concept…Listen, Understand, Share, Success.

We want to listen to what is happening in your companies, so that we can truly understand where you have been and what has been successful, as well as what has not been successful, so that we can share ideas, concepts and solutions to drive your success.

We have tried to show every client that we want to see their success. If they succeed, we succeed. Working within staffing firm marketing and technology marketing, we have had the unique privilege to see how so many organizations differentiate themselves and we have been part of driving success.

Marketing is more of an art than a science, but that doesn’t mean that we should not try to make what we do empirical. For 2017, I would like to offer a marketing challenge. If you are in business development, or recruiting or marketing or leadership – push your organization (even if it is just you) into a new marketing area (for you) and track your success. Let’s say you choose to spend some time on LinkedIn because you really haven’t used it a lot to drive business. First ask yourself what you are going to do there. Second, ask yourself how it will have any effect on your business. Lastly, create some way of tracking it. The reason I am putting out this obvious example is because most people are using LinkedIn, but they are not leveraging it. You have all these connections, but what are you doing with them? Have you ever reached out to someone on LinkedIn that you are connected with (and actually know) and asked them to make an introduction to one of your prospects because they were connected to them? Raise your hand if you have. See…no hands raised. We have all these tools, but we don’t use them as well as we should. This is just one example, but with this example could you make a plan of what you were going to do, could you define how it could affect your business and could you track it? I have done it personally and professionally and I do track it. This is marketing.

S.J.Hemley MarketingWould love to hear any stories you have and little things that affect change. Thank you for five amazing years and the years to come. We are so happy to serve our clients.
