S.J.Hemley Marketing Turns 8 and Wishes The Whole World Success

WOW! S.J.Hemley Marketing began 8 years ago. We began with the simple concept that small- to mid-sized staffing firms needed the same marketing capabilities as the largest staffing firms; however, they needed it to be variable in its approach. The firms needed access to marketing on a less than full-time basis and within a budget they could afford. They needed all of this without losing any quality that a business leader should expect. Additionally, they needed resources that understand marketing for staffing and not someone simply shaking their head yes.

Eight years later, we have worked with so many staffing firms assisting them with everything from marketing strategy to developing high resulting websites to sales and recruiting campaigns that generated great ROI to social media and more.

With this said, I don’t think I ever imagined that we would be celebrating our 8th Anniversary quietly, at home, watching a global pandemic. In some capacity, every one of us have been affected by the virus. We have loved ones suffering from contracting the virus. We have the entire country staying at home. We have those that have lost jobs and worry about what comes next. There is a great deal of confusion and angst out there right now, but the fact is that we do have to stay away from each other in order for this to pass. We all want to get our lives moving again, but it is just not the time yet.

The short is that we will make it through this. We will grieve for our loved ones. We will come back together. Jobs will come back. The economy will recover. Our children will go back to school.

I am typically a glass is half empty kind of person. Normally, I see the worst coming a mile away. That is just me. But, throughout this time I have realized that this is the first time that the entire world is unified in a single common goal. It does not matter about your political affiliation, profession, education, social class, race, color, religion or anything, we are all in this together.

Let’s all stay as positive as possible realizing that we are all going to have down days. Do the things that make you feel good and avoid the things that make you feel bad.
