Cheryl Hemley co-founded S.J. Hemley Marketing in 2012 bringing over 15 years experience in business operations. As CEO, Cheryl is responsible for the business operations departments of legal, finance, HR and administration. Additionally, Cheryl works with the social media team driving direction, content and increasing client effectiveness.
Prior to S.J.Hemley, Cheryl worked in the Legal and Insurance Industry for American International Group (AIG), a leading international insurance organization. Cheryl’s role at AIG was to provide management and oversight of the general business operations of a sophisticated legal department. From contracts management to finance to personnel, Cheryl led the business management of a $13,000,000 divisional budget. Cheryl’s experience includes: corporate governance, management, training, database administration, business continuity planning, budgeting and expense analysis, conference planning, human resource management and supervision and employee development.
Cheryl has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
